2014 has come

WOOF.....

I want to wish everyone a Happy New Year.  I know its a little late but better late than never.  Some of you just couldn't wait for 2013 to end because it was a bad year and I'm sorry that you didn't have a good year.  Its the same thing with me along with a couple of scares too between trips to the hospital with the partner and everything.  

But hey its a new year and its going to be a better year, and I wish you a better year too with new resolutions or goals.  Keep at them and make that change for the better.

With that said, be careful outside as some of you are experiencing cold winters and its been crazy.  Safe driving and also stay warm.

Lost one of our bear friends RIP Brad Rigney

According to some sources of friends on Facebook BRAD RIGNEY (aka DeafBrad) had passed away. They said he was murdered but still under investigation.

Russellville, Kentucky--Russellville Police are investigating a man found dead at his house.  The victim's name is Brad Rigney.  The house was located at 542 Rhea Blvd in Russellville.  The Russellville Police say they are treating this as an open homicide investigation.  Detectives are following leads concerning the man's death.  Mikayla Lewis will have more on this story at 9. Christmas 2013

Hey fellow bears

Well here we are in mid-December, our last month for 2013.  Six more days until Christmas.  Could you believe it?  This time of year is so overwhelming for a lot of us and the stress builds up with family.

Some of you had a great year and its great that you had a wonderful year.  But what about those who had such a horrible year and looking forward for the year to end already.  Just like myself I had a bad year between my partner having kidney failure twice and trying to heal his foot.  Since he is a diabetic, it takes  along time for him to heal.  We were invited to see the family in Connecticut, but because of his situation, we couldn't get down there.  But that is okay.  We are going to make it the best for ourselves.  I know that some of you cannot spend the holidays with your family or will be alone on Christmas day.  My best advice to give you guys is to try to make it the best for yourselves.  Invite your bear friends for a gathering or something before its too late.  Being alone on Christmas could lead to big depression.

Have a wonderful Merry Christmas to each of you and your families and friends, and best wishes for a bright and prosperous 2014.

R.I.P. Garry Thompson September 27, 2013

It touched my heart today to read about Brad Allison's best friend Garry Thompson's death on September 27, 2013.  The love that he expressed himself and great sadness too.

"I can't breathe. There are no words for the pain I feel right now," Brad said, after receiving a call from his friend Steve from England. "I feel like a piece of me just died. I loved him. Always loved him," as he continued to express himself, "I can't believe this is happening. I loved him. I loved him.  The most beautiful man I've ever known.  Our lives went different paths, but I will love him 'til the day I die. I never stopped loving him. never could. I will always love him."

Garry inspired me the past several years with his youtube videos.  He made such nice videos.  So with that said, RIP bear brother.  You will definitely be missed.
