Usage of materials

"WARNING PRIVACY NOTICE Any person or public or private institution that
uses any pictures, videos, songs, or text from my profile, or messages I send, for malicious
purposes, or to claim them as your own, or to display them to be viewed by eyes other than
your own, is subject to prosecution."

Lately I have been seeing this caption on profiles especially on bearforest, which is where I got this notice from.  I don't know why bears add this on their profiles some of the reason could be to piss others off for whatever reason.  I mean, even though they are trying to make a point across, the guys are not take in consideration because you know they are going to save pictures and use it to their advantage. If you have pictures you really don't mind sharing to the internet that's fine, but when it comes to that you don't want guys to use their materials (especially photos) then don't post them, because once the photos are posted on line, its to the public and anybody could save it to their computers.

Now, I had mentioned this to the bears on Bear Underground and one bear that I like and talk to got very offensive of my entry because he mentioned that he has this on his profile....blah blah blah and ended up blocking me.  I didn't want him to think that I was directing it to him because I had no idea that he had this on his BU profile as I didn't know that he had this notice.  

So with that said, I guess it was meant to be.

WARNING PRIVACY NOTICE: Any institutions using this site or any of its associated sites for studies, advertising, solicitations or projects - You DO NOT have my permission to contact me or use any of my profile or pictures in any form or forum both current and future. If you have or do, it will be considered a serious violation of my privacy and will be subject to legal ramifications.

This notice I have been seeing on bear sites a lot lately.  I do find it is interesting how the guys on bear websites such as bearforest, bear411, bearwww, and so on, would post this on particular Warning Privacy Notice as part of their profile. C'mon guys. Do you guys think that these guys who have this message in their profile doesn't take other bears photos for their own personal use and that means saving those photos onto their computer as well?  Give me a break.  Why place something in their profile when they know damn right they do it themselves?
