The quickest way to chat with someone is by sending them an automatic reply from a guest-list, which the website has provided such as on bearforest there are ones such:  "woof", "hey handsome", "what a fine man".  Even-though it is probably a nice idea, but can lead to a non reply back.

From my experience, I had noticed that many bears do not like those automatic replies so they tend to just say either thank you and move on to the next message or just don't bother replying to it so they end up deleting your message.  They may be appreciated but I'm sure that in their eyes its a waste of time and if you want to chat with a person, start type like a human being and not be lazy about it.

If you are really into that person then you would reply to the person with your own words.  Make time and show the effort that would interest in the guy rather clicking on a reply from the guest-book to save time.  This would show no interest and chances are you will not hear from the person.

You would be amazed how many replies you would get.
